Posted

Devil's Club tea is made out of the dried inner bark of a perennial shrub that grows in the pacific Northwest. Devil's Club is in the Araliaceae family, many members of this family (like Ginseng) are adaptogens. Adaptogens are plants and fungi that reduce stress, by supporting the body's natural ability to cope with environmental and physiological burdens. These herbs are non toxic and often referred to as tonics.

For centuries Devil's Club has been used by Pacific Northwest Natives for a number of ailments and as a spiritual protector.

  • Devils club has anti-inflammatory properties and has been helpful for people with rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Devil's Club is an uplifting tonic with the potential to lift spirits and stamina.
